Conservatives for Clean Energy Virginia’s second annual Clean Energy Social was a successful event in Chesapeake, Virginia, on Wednesday, July 24th. Virginia Energy Director Glenn Davis was a special guest at the event. Notable attendees also included representatives from Attorney General Jason Miyares’ office, Dominion Energy, State Senator Christie Craig, local elected officials, members of the CCE-VA Advisory Board, and members of the Virginia Republican Party State Central Committee.
Director Davis previewed Governor Youngkin’s Energy Plan and answered questions about energy and critical minerals. The event was co-hosted by Windsdays, a group in the Hampton Roads/Virginia Beach area dedicated to promoting clean energy and building support for Virginia’s offshore wind industry. Honey and Hooch Restaurant and local businessman David Ropp sponsored the event.
