Conservatives for Clean Energy South Carolina Communications Director Grant Fontaine recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with members of South Carolina’s congressional delegation and discuss the importance of advancing common-sense permitting reform. During the trip, Fontaine met with the offices of Senator Lindsey Graham, Senator Tim Scott, and Congressman Russell Fry to highlight how modernizing the permitting process can strengthen grid reliability, lower long-term energy costs, and help South Carolina remain competitive for future economic investment.

The meetings provided an important opportunity to elevate South Carolina’s clean energy priorities at the federal level and discuss policies that support a more reliable, affordable, and all-of-the-above energy future for the Palmetto State.
