Conservatives for Clean Energy Virginia (CCE-VA) announced Ron Butler as the new State Director for CCE-VA.  Mark Fleming, President and CEO of Conservatives for Clean Energy said, “We are excited to have Ron Butler leading our Virginia effort.  A nationally recognized political professional, Ron understands the real power of our message and how it can impact the vast majority of Virginians that want more clean energy development. ”

CCE-VA works to educate Virginians about the benefits of clean energy and is comprised of local conservative leaders who believe clean energy is an important part of the ‘all of the above’ approach to energy policy.  “There is a clean energy revolution happening right now,” said Ron Butler.  “I want conservatives across Virginia to know the positive impact clean energy has on our economy and not be left behind. We can work together to create new energy jobs, lower energy bills for families and businesses, and lessen our dependence on foreign sources of energy.”

CCE-VA is committed to advancing more clean and renewable energy alternatives throughout the Commonwealth to spur new competition and choice in the energy market.  In recent years, conservative members of the General Assembly have sponsored and supported various pieces of legislation to advance clean energy development, increase choice and competition, and promote energy efficiency programs.

A member of the CCE-VA advisory board since 2018, Ron Butler founded Creative Direct, a direct mail firm one of the largest and most successful Republican firms in the nation. Under Ron Butler’s leadership, Creative Direct played a pivotal role in some of the biggest Republican victories across the nation including many U.S. Senators, Governors, members of Congress and state elected offices.

Prior to forming Creative Direct, Ron served as political director for the Republican Party of Virginia, field director for the Republican National Committee, as well as running campaigns for statewide offices.
