Conservatives for Clean Energy Virginia Congratulates Vince Maiden on Appointment as Virginia Energy Director
Suffolk, VA — Conservatives for Clean Energy Virginia (CCE-VA) today issued a statement congratulating Vince Maiden, P.G., on his appointment by Governor Abigail Spanberger to serve as Director of the Virginia Department of Energy (Virginia Energy).
The appointment, announced on July 27, 2026, places a seasoned, 20-year veteran of state government and a Certified Professional Geologist at the helm of the Commonwealth’s primary energy policy and regulatory agency.
