Conservatives for Clean Energy Conducts Statewide Clean Energy Poll

BATON ROUGE, La. – Conservatives for Clean Energy Louisiana (CCE-LA) recently conducted a statewide poll in Louisiana on clean energy issues and emerging energy technologies. Both Republican and Independent voters were polled in communities across the state.

Key takeaways from the poll include a strong consensus that American energy independence is of the highest importance, along with a majority of survey participants (60 percent) agreeing that Louisiana should pursue an all-of-the-above energy strategy. Accompanying this release is a memo that provides further in-depth highlights.

“Our initial poll in Louisiana demonstrates the readiness of Louisianans to understand and embrace common-sense energy expansion,” said CCE-LA State Director Will Hardy. “As long as we tackle expanding our energy portfolio in the right way, Louisiana will continue to be a global leader in energy job creation, energy production and new technologies.  We need an all-of-the-above strategy to meet our growing power demand.”
